{This super long entryway is screaming for art work}

{As soon as we laid eyes on this West Elm console, we knew it had to be ours. We purchased this couch that will be placed across from the T.V. Of course it does not arrive until Tuesday, so we’ll be “picnicking” it until then}

{The bathroom is not exactly the biggest, so with a bright shower curtain we were able to create a larger feel}

{With few cabinets, we put up this shelving to hold miscellaneous household items. Of course our wine and glasses needed a home of their own ASAP}

{My work station until the home office is completed. We hit the jackpot when we found this dining table at the West Elm outlet! Still in search for perfect chairs, in the mean time we’ve put these super inexpensive folding chairs from IKEA in place. We’ve had our eyes on these dining chairs}

{This separate kitchen was one of the top reasons this apartment won us over. With all the apartments we saw, this was the only one with a completely separate kitchen area!}

We certainly have a long way to go, but we’ll get there. Between the master bedroom, office/guest room and living room, we’ll be working on perfecting this space for a bit. We figured we’d start a new series where we bring you behind the scenes of updates and progress to possibly provide inspiration for your own living space. In the mean time we’ll be traveling a bit heading to San Diego for a few days and back to Buffalo for business. We’re so excited that life will become much easier now between our travels back and forth to Buffalo!
