A few weeks ago I had the privilege of being apart of the launch of the new Kate Spade New York ‘Sadie’ collection for Williams Sonoma with Style Me Pretty and I’m finally sharing the beautiful images from this dinner party. Frankly, I’m obsessed with the new collection. Not only does it feature Kate Spade New York’s signature polka-dot design, but you can actually intermix the four colors – I have my eyes on the grey and blush sets! During the night I had the opportunity to chat with Abby Larson, founder of Style Me Pretty and she had so many great tips and tricks for entertaining. Thankfully, she shared her expertise with Williams Sonoma for everyone to see, check them out here. One of my favorite tips she shares is to determine the overall vibe of your event – and I couldn’t agree more.

We were so excited to see this 4th of July wedding we coordinated for NFL player Andy Levitre and his wife, Katie Levitre, last Summer featured on Style Me Pretty! This was quite a unique wedding as the couple wanted to incorporate fun aspects aside from dancing. Naturally, we included beer, wine and whiskey tasting, a cigar roller, lawn games, an ice cream bar and of course, fireworks – to name a few. It might be all this bipolar weather we’ve had in Western New York, but I’ve been dreaming of some sunny far away destinations. Destination weddings are perfect for the couple who really want to focus on what their special day means to them, and who may just want a smaller ceremony and guest list- all while taking a little “vaca” from normalcy.
I’m swooning over these destination weddings I’ve pulled from some of my favorite wedding sources, and gathering some inspiration for my first wedding of the season coming up soon! Enjoy!
Turks and Caicos Islands is the perfect tropical getaway for a destination. This gorgeous couple shined through a rainy ceremony on the beach, with a background of gorgeous blue ocean there’s no need for many decor touches as they stuck with a pretty neutral pallet. I love their swag bags given to guests at the hotel!
I’m pretty obsessed with this wedding that took place in Portugal. The paper hearts lining the aisle, the balloons and tassels and the giant flowers add such fun whimsical touches while the lighting and table settings create a romantic atmosphere to die for.
The perfect mix of playful touches and modern clean lines in this Costa Rica wedding tied together both the bride and groom’s personalities. The ghost chairs and ceremony spot is breath taking amongst all the greenery. I love the post cards guests signed and sent to the couple, and the signature cocktails look like they were a hit!
Last but not least, this Pike Market wedding is a destination wedding wild card. Not all destination weddings have to mean beaches and exotic locations. I love the idea of getting married amidst an everyday location, especially one like Pike Market! This fun loving couple had a small ceremony full of great color and energy that made from some amazing pictures to cherish.
