A Friendsgiving tablescape of autumnal prints & hues
I’m thrilled to share our 2024 Friendsgiving tablescape! Friendsgiving has truly become a cherished tradition for us—an occasion we eagerly anticipate each year, surrounded by friends who feel more like family. There’s so much joy in hosting, planning, and bringing it all together—Curt as the chef, and me as the decorator. Of course, none of this would be possible without our amazing friends, who each contribute a delicious dish, making the meal extra special. I highly recommend this collaborative approach when hosting a larger group! Each year I decide on a theme or color scheme before I plan my Friendsgiving decorations, this year I honed in on chocolate brown with hints of green and maroon – see more in our invitation below.
I’m also incredibly grateful to my friend Sarah Bridgeman for capturing stunning photos of our finished table, and to The Plot for creating the gorgeous florals that completed the look. It was nearly impossible to choose just a few photos, so I may have gotten a little carried away with the selection below! But hopefully they will provide plenty of inspiration for next year’s fall or Friendsgiving decorations…
Tory Burch Spongeware Dinner Plate
The hand-painted Spongeware Dinner Plate is inspired by the 19th-century English stoneware collected by Tory Burch and her mother, Reva. Mix with new and vintage pieces in the same palette — it makes things feel more interesting, less prescribed and comes as a set of two.
Tory Burch Gingham Tablecloth
This gingham tablecloth is inspired by the linens that Tory Burch’s parents used on their farm in Valley Forge. Made of woven jacquard, the classic check feels at home indoors and out for a dressed down table or luxurious table.
Tory Burch Dinner Napkins
Optimistic floral is a perennial favorite, inspired by classic chintz fabrics and comes as a set of four. Rendered in an earthy palette pulled from the garden, the Happy Times Bouquet Dinner Napkin brings the outdoors in, year round. Layer with new and vintage pieces for an eclectic mix.
We hadn’t filled out our place cards when shooting the table, but safe to say these cheeky place cards were a hit and currently 20% off!

And lastly, our digital Friendsgiving invitation designed by Sarah Gross Design. I wanted something that felt elevated and inviting. Our friends know just how *particular* I am and know I love color coordination. This year’s dress code color was placed in the florals and everyone arrived dressed to impress, kidos included!
